First Line Medical is a division of the Wild Side, LLC. The company was formed in 2003 by David D Taylor, MD and Timothy J Turbett, MD, after many discussions throughout medical school, residency, and private practice about ways to improve healthcare as well as improve physician efficiency. Our goal is to bring innovations to medicine that improve upon practices of today.

The i-stick was conceived as an attempt to improve on current antiseptic application techniques used in your practice. The end product eliminates messy swabs, gloving and regloving, iodine splatter when pouches are torn open, and dry swabs or inadequate amounts of iodine. Just as important, it allows you to be more efficient. It provides more of the product you want (iodine), with less waste of materials such as gloves, gauze, and/or sterilization of basins. Each i-stick contains 5 mls of iodine, adequate for coverage of most any field prepped for an outpatient procedure be it a lesion removal, breast biopsy, joint aspiration/injection, vasectomy, etc... Its usefulness extends outside of the office to include hospital applications as well. Whether the i-stick is used by physician, NP, PA, nurse, MA, PT, ATC or other we are confident you will be pleased with the product.
